Maximum visually impaired children received training in a workshop
The record for maximum visually impaired children received training in a workshop was set by Rotary Club of Nagpur, Ishanya, Maharashtra. The workshop was regarding mobility workshop for visually impaired on July 30 and 31, 2022. A total of 216 participants were taught various techniques to use the white cane, two-point technique, pencil grip to hold the cane while climbing stairs, recognising cereals, grains and vegetables, sharpening their other sensory organs, crossing the road without the zebra crossing and recognising various sounds, as confirmed on June 18, 2023.
