The record for singing the maximum number of songs of an Indian playback singer was set by Md. Hanif Hundekari (born on June 1, 1965) of Solapur, Maharashtra. He sang 43 songs of the famous Indian playback singer Mohammed Rafi on July 31, 2023 (43rd death anniversary of the late singer) at Hutatama Smruti Mandir (Solapur) in association with Aawaz Studio, as confirmed on September 25, 2023.
