The record for planting the maximum number of saplings in 15 minutes was set by Vivek Kumar Singh (August 11, 1997) of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He planted 166 saplings of Neem, Peepal and Ashoka, as confirmed on July 14, 2021.
