The record for maximum quantity of millets prepared in a single vessel and served was set by Celebrity Chef Vishnu Manohar in an event organized by Mahendra Subhashchandra Chhoriya, MD of the Millet Meal Brand Sonpari-SEHAT of Nashik, Maharashtra. A total of 4, 000 kgs. of millets prepared in a single vessel and distributed free of cost to common people, old age homes and orphanages of Nashik city. This record was set to commemorate the International Year of Millets with the goal of increasing awareness and raising millet production and consumption, as confirmed on February 12, 2023.
