The record for maximum mothers and children participating in a walkathon was set by Aarti Awdhesh Maheshwari (born on July 05,1972) of Indore, Madhya Pradesh The walkathon titled “Chalo Mumma Walkathon” was held to commemorate Mother’s Day and saw participation from a total of 300 mother and child pairs who walked for 3 kilometers from 6.00AM to 8.00AM to celebrate the bonding between mother & child. Many social groups, NGO’s and societies also participated in this walkathon as confirmed on May 14, 2023.
