Maximum handcrafted replicas of deities displayed at a single venue by a group
The record for maximum handcrafted replicas of deities displayed at a single venue was set by the founder of Doll Making Enthusiasts (Facebook group) Roopa Sanjay (born on May 6, 1975) of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A total of 79 people participated and created 1002 replicas of Hindu Gods and Goddesses, started on June 1, 2023 and completed on August 25, 2023. They created the replicas using wooden dolls, wire dolls, clay dolls, cloth dolls etc and displayed at Garuda Mall, Bengaluru, as confirmed on September 28, 2023.
