Maximum functional models designed by a teen
The record for designing the maximum number of functional models was set by Shubhasees Sarma (born on January 15, 2004) of Guwahati, Assam. He designed 8 working models namely roti maker, aquarium, egg incubator, vegetable cutter, acrylic lamp, rice thresher, water fountain and a height measuring machine using plywood, mica, electrical wires, batteries, glass, acrylic sheet and an electric pump, at the age of 19 years, 7 months and 27 days, as confirmed on September 11, 2023.
