The record for completing the longest bicycle expedition was set by Biju Samanta (born on January 16, 1994) of Imphal, Manipur. He started his journey from Khardungla (Ladakh) on June 3, 2022 at 2:30 pm; travelled across Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and completed it at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu on August 2, 2022 at 7:42 pm; covering a distance of 4,600 in 60 days, as confirmed on October 13, 2022.
