Largest book donation drive
The record for the largest book donation drive was set by Rotary Club of Ambattur, Rotary International District 3232, (District Rotary Public Image) District Rotaract Council 2023-24, Phoenix Marketcity, Chennai, Tamil Nadu & Vels Group of Institutions. This unique initiative titled, ‘KARPI’, aims to collect a total of 1,13,450 books from the Public, Rotary Clubs, Rotaract Clubs, Schools, Colleges and the Community in the week leading up to the event. The donated books will benefit government schools, colleges, and underprivileged students, as confirmed on September 10, 2023.
