The record for being the youngest to undertake the snow-covered Sar Pass Trek was set by Vihaan Umed Chetariya (born on February 5, 2017) of Jamnagar, Gujarat. He undertook the snow-covered Sar Pass Trek, at an altitude of 4220 metres (13800 feet), in Himachal Pradesh, from April 24, 2026 to April 29, 2026 (organised by Kailashrath Treks), at the age of 9 years, 2 months and 24 days, as confirmed on May 23, 2026.
