The record for being the youngest to perform mountain to mountain rope crossing using the Tyrolean traverse technique was set by V. Sri Sadvik (born on May 1, 2019) of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. He performed mountain to mountain crossing across a rope measuring 108 feet in length, at a height of 108 feet from ground level, at Malaippattu (Kancheepuram), in 3 minutes and 6 seconds (under the supervision and guidance of Tamil Nadu Mountaineering Association) at 8.30 a.m. on September 5, 2025, at the age of 6 years, 4 months and 4 days, as confirmed on September 19, 2025.
