Youngest to climb Mt Nangakarshang
The record for being the youngest to climb Mt. Nangakarshang was set by Akshaj Udaiwal (born on May 4, 2015) of Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh (currently residing in Muscat, Oman). He started the trek on April 22, 2022 and reached Mt Nangakarshang (located in Nepal at an altitude of 5,077 m) on April 28, 2022, under the guidance of a trekking guide Lt Col Romil Barthwal, at the age of 6 years 11 months and 28 days, as confirmed on May 12, 2022.
