Youngest female to summit Carstensz Pyramid
The record for being the youngest to summit Carstensz Pyramid was set by Nisha Sasikumar of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She reached the summit of Carstensz Pyramid (at a height of 4,884 metres), the highest peak in Oceania and Indonesia, on October 14, 2025, organised by ‘Elite Exped’ (supported and facilitated by ‘Summitcarstensz’), and proudly held the Indian Flag, at the age of 15 years, 7 months and 8 days, as confirmed on December 23, 2025.
