The record for being the youngest to complete a half marathon was set by Niranjana Raj (born on May 5, 2014) of Palakkad, Kerala. She successfully completed a half marathon (Ranipet Marathon 2023) of 21.1 km in 2 hours, 13 minutes and 22 seconds on December 24, 2023, at the age of 9 years, 7 months and 19 days, as confirmed on January 16, 2024.
