Yoga performed at highest altitude by a team of students from Government Schools of Haryana

The record for performing Yoga at highest altitude was set by a team of students from Government Schools of Haryana. A team of 88 students (44 girls, 22 boys and 22 specially abled) went to  Baralacha La Pass out of which 68 students (35 girls, 18 boys and 15 specially abled) along with their teachers performed yoga at Baralacha La Pass, at a height of 4,850 metres (15,910 ft), on International Yoga Day (June 21). This expedition was jointly organised by the Directorate of School Education, Haryana  and National Adventure Club (India), Chandigarh, as confirmed on June 30, 2022.
