Unique attempt to conserve water through his poem
The record for making a unique attempt to conserve water through his poem was set by Ramesh Goyal (born on October 23, 1948) of Sirsa, Haryana. He wrote a poem named ‘Jal Chalisa’ and published it in a booklet. The poem signifies the importance of water. Twelve editions (with 5000 copies each) of this booklet have been published since March 2012 to September 2019. He has achieved many awards and honours from the Central Government and different National and Provincial Organizations for his efforts, as confirmed on April 29, 2021.
