Unextinguished flame glowing for the longest duration in a temple

The record of unextinguished flame glowing for the longest duration in a temple was set by Pujy Chaliha Sahib Mandir of Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. The eternal Jyot, which was lit around 1897 AD in Pakistan and brought to India during the India-Pak partition in 1947, has been continuously glowing for 126 years. Devotees from India and abroad visit the Chaliha Sahib Mandir during Cheti Chand (the Sindhi New Year) and Chaliha Saheb jo Melo, where fasting for forty days is observed, as confirmed on August 1, 2023.
