The record for making the tallest traditional lamp of Kerala using coconut shells was set by Vijayabhanu V. K. (born on June 26, 1961) of Cherthala, Kerala. He built the tallest traditional lamp of Kerala (Nilavilakku) measuring 223 cm (7 feet and 32 inches) using coconut shells and paint, as confirmed on September 15, 2021.
