Tallest Engineering Sculpture
The record for manufacturing and installing the ‘Tallest Engineering Sculpture’ was set by the Cochin Shipyard Limited, Cochin, Kerala. The steel and copper marvel, erected on a concrete platform with a base of ‘Krishna Shila Stone’, standing at 9.08 meters tall with a base length of 3.37 meters, was installed to mark the golden Jubilee Year. Designed by sculptor Shri PV Ramachandran and crafted by traditional artists from ‘Venkala Paithruka Gramam’ in Kannur, Kerala, its dimensions adhere to the Golden Ratio in Mathematics vetted by Mathematician Dr. Sunny Kuriakose, as confirmed on March 30, 2024.
