Smallest replica of Durga idol made using matchsticks
The record for making the smallest replica of the Durga idol and Mahishasur using match sticks was set by Subir Kumar Saha (born on December 1, 1967) of Malda, West Bengal. He made the smallest replica of the Durga idol and Mahishasur (measuring 7.5 inches x 4.8 inches) using 296 matchsticks (2 inches and 1 inch size), 3 matchboxes, coloured paper, knife, scissor, thread and adhesive, as confirmed on October 14, 2021.
