The record for carving out the smallest map of India on chalk was set by Kanchumurthi Naga Manikanta (born on August 3, 2004) of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He carved out the map of India (measuring 10 mm in length and 0.9 mm in width) on a piece of chalk using only his fingernails in 39 minutes, 12 seconds and 87 milliseconds, as confirmed on July 2, 2021.
