The record for writing the smallest letters of the National Anthem on a postage stamp was set by Vinayak Kashiram Dhande (born on June 2, 1969) of Akola, Maharashtra. He wrote the smallest letters (each measuring 1 mm in height) of the complete National Anthem on the reverse side of an Indian postage stamp (measuring 2 cm x 2.5 cm) in 4 minutes and 50 seconds, using a black ballpoint pen, as confirmed on February 28, 2026.
