The record for carving out the smallest India map on pencil lead was set by Vasam Nikhil Kumar (born on February 1, 2001) of Jagtial, Telangana. He beautifully carved out the outline map of India (measuring 0.5 mm in length) in 6 minutes and 69 seconds, as confirmed on July 7, 2021.
