The record for having the smallest egg was set by Yash Vijay Pawar (born on August 7, 2002) of Nashik, Maharashtra. He is the owner of a poultry farm where one of his hens laid the smallest egg (measuring 2.5 cm in length, 2 cm in width and 2 cm in height) weighing 5.84 grams, as confirmed on August 9, 2021.
