Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023​

India Book of Records congratulates our esteemed record holder Shreya Bhattacharjee for receiving the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 for her exceptional aptitude in Art and Culture.

Shreya Bhattacharjee is a vivacious Tabla artiste from Assam. At a young age of 12 years, she registered a record of playing Tabla for the longest duration in India Book of Records. This small wonder is a recipient of various awards, winner in the All North-East Tabla Solo Competition, All India Pt. Rupak Kulkarni Music Competition and All India Tabla Solo Competition. She has won a gold medal at the 9th Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts as well.

Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, formally known as ‘National Child Award’, is awarded by the Government of India, to children with exceptional abilities and outstanding accomplishments in six categories – Art and Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Scholastic, Social Service and Sports. It is India’s Highest Civilian Honour bestowed upon exceptional achievers in the age group 5 – 18 years and carries a cash reward of INR.1,00,000/-.

Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) for the year 2023 has been conferred to 11 children. These winners include 6 Boys and 5 Girls, belonging to 11 states and Union territories.
