The record for making a seven layered wooden altar was set by Bipul Kumar Borah (born on February 17, 1975) of Nagaon, Assam. He made a wooden altar with the local wood Thuja. It is a seven layered asana (a throne-like platform) and a total of 60 idols are attached to it. Out of these 60, four are turtle shaped, 28 are elephant shaped and another 28 are Narasingha (lion) shaped. Flowers and creepers are engraved on every layer, as confirmed on November 11, 2020.
