Sanoj K. P. (born on June 2, 1983) of Wayanad, Kerala, is titled as ‘IBR Achiever’ for making 20 artefacts out of bamboo, coconut leaves and wood, including kinetic bamboo sculptures and automata with moving parts that animate rural life scenes, often water-powered or mechanically operated, showcasing craftsmanship, creativity and simple traditional engineering, as confirmed on April 17, 2026.
