Saanvi Sood of Punjab has achieved feats that many individuals can only dream of. She is the youngest Asian girl to summit Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m high, in Tanzania) and to reach Everest Base Camp in Nepal at just the age of 8 years old. she along with her father, and guide undertook and completed this entire journey in 15 days in July, 2022.This incredible accomplishment showcases her unparalleled determination, courage, and passion for adventure, and sets an example that age is no barrier to achieving greatness.
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) – is given to children with exceptional abilities and outstanding achievements. The awards are given to children in the age group 5 – 18 years for their excellence in seven categories for Bravery, Art & Culture, Environment, Innovation, Science & Technology, Social Service and Sports that deserve national recognition. Each awardee of PMRBP is given a medal, certificate and a citation booklet.
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) for the year 2025 has been conferred to 17 children. The list includes 7 boys and 10 girls, who belong to 18 States and UTs.
