The record for making the portrait of an Indian actor using layered paper cutting technique was set by Rahul P. R. (born on March 8, 2000) of Ernakulam, Kerala. He cut seven sheets of paper in different shapes to make the complete image of the South Indian actor Mohanlal. The shapes were then placed one above the other and held against the light to present a beautiful portrait of the actor, as confirmed on May 25, 2021.
