Participation of maximum people in the Green Ribbon Campaign
The record for the participation of the maximum number of people in the Green Ribbon Campaign was set by Akhil Bhartiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The NGO organised the campaign with the objective of ‘Organ Donation Awareness’ (under their National Project Angdan, Dehdan, Raktdan) from August 1 to August 15, 2022 for commemorating 75 years of Independence. A total number of 1,32,233 people participated from 20 Indian states, as confirmed on September 1, 2022.
