The record for making the painting of famous personalities using the maximum number of natural colours was set by Saji KV Cherukara (born on November 16, 1969) of Malappuram, Kerala. He made sketches of six famous personalities using six natural colours namely Soil, Neel, Turmeric, Coffee, Indigo and Beetroot, as confirmed on January 21, 2022.
