The record for being the oldest to scale Mount Kilimanjaro was set by Kasi Viswanadham Ganduri (Sqn Ldr veteran) (born on July 5, 1946) of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He scaled the 5,685 m high Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania on July 5, 2023 at the age of 77 years, as confirmed on July 20, 2023.
