Oldest to cover one hundred kilometres by walking in one day
The record for being the oldest to cover one hundred kilometres in one day was set by Ratul Kumar Jakharia (born on January 1, 1967) of Kamrup Metro, Assam. He started his walk at 4:03 am on November 7, 2022 from Azara Police Station; reached Boko (Singora) and returned back to Azara Police Station at 8:38 pm on the same day. He covered 100 km in 16 hours and 35 minutes, at the age of 55 years, 10 months and 7 days, as confirmed on November 11, 2022.
