The record for being the oldest to make handwritten Marathi magazines was set by Nalini Pramod Kulkarni (born on September 30, 1936) of Mumbai, Maharashtra. She made 37 handwritten magazines titled ‘Jagar’ consisting of her own articles, poems and the best articles, poems of other authors from the year 2001 till 2023, at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 1 day, as confirmed on December 1, 2023.
