The record for minimum weight of silver Ganesh idols was set by Arjun BR (born on August 31, 1986) of Bengaluru, Karnataka. A goldsmith by profession, he has created 1008 silver Ganesha idols, each weighing 0.090 mg only. These idols were assembled together to create a portrait of the Kannada actor Late Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar as confirmed on September 20, 2022.
