Maximum women performed Kalaripayattu together
The record for organising a programme in which the maximum number of women performed Kalaripayattu together was set by Dakshina Bharatha Vanitha Kalari of Ernakulam, Kerala. The institution organised ‘Veerangana’ a mass performance programme of Kalaripayattu (traditional martial art) on March 12, 2022. A group of 101 women performed Kalaripayattu together for 7 minutes and gave a message of women empowerment and protection through traditional art form, as confirmed on April 8, 2022.
