Maximum Women Blowing Conch Shells at a Durga Puja Pandal
The record for the maximum number of women blowing conch shells at a Durga Puja pandal was set by Keya Seth Alta Sindoor, Kolkata. On September 21, 2025, they organized a cultural tribute that united 697 women in a grand formation, dressed in traditional red and white sarees, adorned with alta and sindoor. Together, they blew conch shells in sync with the rhythmic beats of the dhak and drums. The objective of this program was to celebrate womanhood, devotion, strength, and heritage, as confirmed on September 21, 2025.
