The record for lifting the maximum weight by hooks embedded in skin was set by Bhupen Chandra Das (born on January 2, 1977) of Kamrup, Assam. He lifted 12 kg (six metal discs weighing 2 kg each) by hooks embedded in the skin of both forearms (for 3 minutes and 35 seconds) at Guwahati City Centre, as confirmed on January 21, 2021.
