Maximum Units of Blood Collected by an Organisation
The record for collecting 3246 units of blood within 12 hours was set by Sri Chowdareddy Abhimanigala Balaga in association with Red Cross Society, Bangalore, to commemorate the 88th birthday of Sri Chowda Reddy and the 90th year of the uninterrupted political life of the Late Sri M C Anjaneya Reddy family. A blood donation camp was organised on February 21, 2025, at Chintamani in association with the Red Cross Society’s Chikkaballapur and Bangalore branches, Koshy’s Hospital, Bangalore, wherein maximum units of blood were collected, as confirmed on February 21, 2025.
