The record for producing the maximum types of crops in a single farmland was set by Soji Chacko Narimattathil (born on April 27, 1979) of Idukki, Kerala. He produced 2,907 different types of crops including cardamom (1000 nos.), pepper (500), nutmegs (17), vanilla (17), turmeric (25), ginger (100), bitter gourd (2), ivy gourd (2), yam (25) and many more in a single farmland (measuring 1 hectare and 4 acres), as confirmed on November 4, 2022.
