Maximum Tulsi leaves painted by an individual
The record for painting the maximum number of Tulsi leaves was set by Suvajit Das (born on May 13, 1999) of Howrah, West Bengal. He painted 28 Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves (each leaf measuring 2 cm without stalk) with portraits of famous personalities including Swami Vivekananda, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Lord Buddha, Bhagat Singh and others, using watercolours, as confirmed on November 12, 2022.
