The record for reciting the maximum number of thirukkurals in 30 minutes was set by P.R. Muhil Nanthan (born on March 24, 2017) of Vellore, Tamil Nadu. He recited 360 thirukkurals in 30 minutes, at the age of 7 years, 9 months and 18 days, as confirmed on January 11, 2025.
