The record for surgically removing the maximum number of stones from a knee joint was set by Dr Siddharth Shah (born on August 24, 1983) of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He surgically removed 478 chondromas nodules (stones) from the right knee joint of a 70-year-old patient suffering from’ Multiple Giant Synovial Chondromatosis’. The measurement of the largest stone was 12 cm x 6 cm x 5.5 cm, as confirmed on May 7, 2022.
