The record for descending the maximum number of stairs in an upside-down position was set by Sukant Kumar Pathak (born on January 6, 2004) of Gaya, Bihar. He descended 53 stairs in an upside-down position by climbing down on his hands in 2 minutes, as confirmed on June 19, 2021.
