The record for recalling the maximum number of species of sharks was set by Marwan Ibad Velladath (born on November 23, 2012) of Edappal, Kerala. He recalled 72 species of sharks in 2 minutes and 58 seconds, at the age of 9 years, 2 months and 18 days, as confirmed on February 10, 2022.
