Maximum Soak Pits Constructed by Organization
The record for the maximum number of soak pits constructed by an organization was set by the District Administration of North Tripura. On November 3 and 4, 2025, they built 57,582 soak pits across Gram Panchayats, Village Committees, and urban local bodies in North Tripura District, within 48 hours. This initiative was part of a large-scale rural and urban sanitation and water conservation drive aimed at promoting groundwater recharge, greywater management, and sustainable sanitation, as confirmed on November 4, 2025.
