The record for sending the maximum number of SMS and emails to consumers was set by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), Maharashtra, India. MSEDCL shared 35,73,584 emails from June 1 to June 6, 2025, and 1,92,78,895 SMS on June 6, 2025, carrying the message to follow electrical safety to achieve zero accidents. The initiative aimed to reach every single electricity consumer of MSEDCL in the state across urban and rural areas with direct, personalized messages that emphasized life-saving precautions about Electrical Safety, as confirmed on August 1, 2025.
