The record for performing the maximum number of sit-ups on a stool in one minute was set by Silpa Anilkumar (born on October 16, 2005) of Palakkad, Kerala. She performed 65 sit-ups (Uthak- Bethak in Hindi) on a stool in one minute at the age of 15 years, 11 months and 12 days, as confirmed on September 28, 2021.
