The record for the maximum number of single-model luxury performance cars sold by a dealer in a day was set by EVM Passenger Cars India Private Ltd. A total of 25 Volkswagen Golf GTI high-performance cars were sold and delivered by the Volkswagen Cochin dealership Kerala, on a single day. The Golf GTI is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine producing 265 PS and 370 Nm torque, as confirmed on June 14, 2025.
