The record for reciting the maximum number of shlokas was set by Hetwik Lalit Janjirala (born on November 22, 2016) of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He recited 64 shlokas of the Bhagavad Gita including 20 shlokas of 12th chapter, 20 shlokas of 15th chapter and 24 shlokas of 16th chapters at the age of 4 years, 8 months and 16 days, as confirmed on August 7, 2021.
